Heating and cooling for houses in the hills.
RadiantPath looks after heating, cooling and ventilation for homes in Emerald Lake Hills, Redwood City and Woodside — and for the small offices and shops that serve them.
For homes
Houses up here are varied: 1950s cabins that grew, ranch houses on terraced lots, and new builds tucked into the slope. Many have a furnace in a crawlspace or basement, ducts in tight spaces, and outdoor equipment on a deck or a shelf cut into the hill.

Questions
Does a gas furnace work in a power outage?
Usually not. Modern gas and propane furnaces need electricity for the blower, the igniter and the controls. A correctly installed backup can often run one.
Can a generator run my heat pump?
Only if it is sized for the heat pump, including its start-up, and connected by a licensed electrician with a transfer switch or interlock. We tell the electrician what the equipment needs.
Do you work on furnaces in crawlspaces?
Yes. Many hillside homes have furnaces in crawlspaces or basements; we are used to tight access.
Do you look after businesses?
Yes. Offices, clinics, shops and studios in Redwood City, Woodside and San Carlos, including cooling for small server closets.
